Mark N Tompkins: Series for Real Man
If you consider yourself a real man, then you should follow these TV series suggested by actor Mark N Tompkins, which are currently being showed on the small screens.
“Sons of Anarchy” definitely deserves a spot on this list because it is a series that will take you on a wild rollercoaster of emotions. Motors and men have always gone together, and series that deal with motorcycle clubs, or better said motorcycle gangs, are perfect for the male population. In addition to this, Tompkins shares that Sons of Anarchy also deals with trade of arms and drugs, each series full of violence and sex. In this series there is no pure good guy, and all characters have their own more or less dark secrets, which hits the spot for every man. Finally, the seventh season of this series, in Mark Tompkins' humble opinion, is the best so far.
Mad Men is the next series that deserved an honorary spot on this list composed by Mark N Tompkins. One of the most critically praised series of the 21'st century, unfortunately this year stopped running. The excellent work done by the screenwriters who, as Mark reveals, also created the Sopranos, took us back to the 60's, in the ruthless world of racism, sexism, and marketing agencies in which everything revolves around money. Although Mad Men has a number of interesting characters, according to Mark's Twitter - in the end it's all about the mysterious Don Draper, the ruler of the marketing scene in New York City. Don Draper at first sight has everything. He is handsome, wealthy, and successful in his work and is able to get into bed every woman he wants. However, Don Draper is chronically unhappy. The last season revealed some secrets about Don's childhood, and we Mark can’t wait to see how it will all unravel in the last season.
Finally the last TV Series that all men should watch is no other but Mark N. Tompkins favorite, House of Cards. After Netflix failed to attract larger companies, they decided to take the plunge and broadcast a series of their own production. That they are on the right path shows “Orange is the New Black”, and their biggest hit, the political drama thriller “House of Cards”. The new series brings together an excellent team, both in front and behind the camera. The fantastic Kevin Spacey, who many times before has proved his acting talent, from “Seven” to “Unusual Suspects”, this time plays the role of Francis Underwood, an American politician who hides his cruelty behind his perfect charm. The same goes for his cold and calculating wife, played by Robin Wright. Together, this brilliant pair is on their way to conquer the United States.
